With an enrollment of around 10,000 students, Tech offers degrees from eight academic schools and colleges: Agriculture and Human Ecology, Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, Fine Arts, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Nursing.

Angelo & Jennette Volpe Library: The Volpe Library has more than 600,000 books (physical and digital) and access to nearly 90,000 journals through more than 100 databases to fuel academic research. The collection also includes more than 7,500 DVDs and CDs, more than 40,000 microfiche and microfilm items, and a substantial University Archive for historical research about Tech and the region. It is a Federal Depository for publications of the U.S. government.
