The Innokick Master’s enables students from of Engineering and Architecture, Business, Management and Services, and Design and Visual Arts to acquire the interdisciplinary skills they need to create innovative products and services that can be marketed successfully. It also provides a chance to develop business opportunities that meet the real needs of businesses geared to user expectations. The aim of the Innokick Master’s is to respond to market demand for innovative, agile managers who are active in their professional environment, come up with creative proposals and are equipped to respond to the societal and technological challenges of today’s world. The course is based on an innovative pedagogical process, with an emphasis on project-based learning, closely combining academic teaching and practical training in the context of real requirements identified by SME/SMIs, multinationals and start-ups. It is also backed by strategic partnerships with various innovation support organisations and several businesses in Switzerland. Admission to a Bachelor is done through a competitive examination, which assesses the artistic and creative abilities of the candidates. Amongst those who are eligible to apply, it is possible that some candidates feel that their artistic and creative abilities are still insufficient. In this case, the ECAL recommends that they apply to the Foundation Year entrance exam.
