CEMS is a strategic global alliance of leading business schools, multinational companies and non-governmental organisations. This highly-ranked, global, one-year, pre-experience MIM programme emphasises and develops management and leadership competencies with an emphasis on internationalism and responsible leadership.
NUS was the first Asian university to be a full Academic Member of CEMS in 2008.
The CEMS Master’s in International Management was recently ranked 11th in the QS Masters in Management (MiM) Ranking 2024. The CEMS MIM was also consistently ranked in the top 10 of The Economist’s Master in Management Ranking in every year that it appeared.
This programme is exclusively open to MSc students of CEMS Member Schools and has been widely recognised as one of the best springboards to an international career. CEMS graduates’ international mobility is well represented by our over 15,000 alumni of at least 100 nationalities who are currently working in more than 75 countries. More than 45% of them live and work outside their home country. During your CEMS MIM year, you will enjoy two international exchange semesters at two leading CEMS partner universities, complete CEMS courses in Global Management, block seminars and skills seminars, as well as complete an international internship. We started out as a modest medical school with 23 students in 1905, founded by a determined group of businessmen led by Tan Jiak Kim, to serve the needs of the local community. Today, more than 100 years on, as Singapore’s flagship university, we continue to be in service of country and society.
The International Students studying in certain institutions in Singapore are allowed to work part time for 16 hours per week as mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore. Students who have studied in the institutions mentioned on the Ministry of Manpower website of Singapore are allowed to apply for a Long Term Visitor Pass. They are allowed to look for a job during this time period.This is for 12 months.If the students get a job during this time period, the employer may sponsor for an Employment pass.
