The School of Management was formally established in 2003, bringing together the activities of the MIP ( Graduate School of Business founded in 1979) and the DIG ( Department of Management Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano, established in 1990), bringing together the research and training on management issues.
The School of Management carries out a broad spectrum of both teaching and research activities and currently there are over 4,900 students enrolled in the various degree programs.
The School of Management provides a portfolio of high-level research , training and consulting services in the fields of management , economics and industrial engineering .
The School offers an "end-to-end" portfolio of programs with the specific purpose of responding, on the one hand, to the aims of the Politecnico di Milano, which, as a state university, produces research and provides academic training, offering programs BSc and MSc , most pre-kind experience for students on the verge of a professional career, and the PhD program .
On the other hand, the School wants to address the needs of the business world with specialized, post-graduate and post-experience training courses designed for those who have already embarked on a professional career, including MBAs , specialized Mastersand executive and corporate training courses.
